1. In 2009 a "New Team" will be defined as a team of participants that did not compete in more than one (1) CBA open event during the 2008 season.
2. If either team member participated in more than one (1) CBA open event in 2008 that team is not eligible for 2009 new team prizes.
3. The year end prize will be $500.00 to the new team that finishes highest in the point standings for the open tournaments. This is a team prize, changing partners is not allowed for this prize unless you can still have a total of seven (7) tournament months with your new partner. The prize will not be awarded to an individual that fished with multiple partners to accumulate their point total. Only teams fishing together to have a full seven (7) month point total will be eligible. The only exception would be a team that accumulated enough points to win in less than seven (7) tournament months. Individuals that fish the season alone are eligible.
4. The monthly tournament prize will be a free entry into the next CBA event. Example: If you are the highest finishing new team in the April event your team will receive one free entry into the May event. During the months of June, July, and August the CBA will have both day and night events. In these months the day winner will receive a free entry into the next day event, the new team winner in the month of June at night will receive a free entry into the July night event. The highest finishing new team in the August night event will receive a free entry into the September day event. All free entries must be used in the next event, no transfers will be allowed. The free entry is forfeited if it is not used in the next event and can not be exchanged for cash. The highest finishing new team in the October event will receive $120.00 because it is the final open tournament event.
5. To be eligible for any monthly or season prizes you must purchase a process number.
6. If you are competing as a new team fill out a yellow weigh-in card.
7. Any and all decisions of the CBA officers in regards to eligibility or prizes are final.
8. The following list of participants, and their 2008 partners, are not eligible for any 2009 CBA new team prizes.
